Kelly Mantle: From Fan Art to Hollywood Carnival Event Flyer

In 2016, I had a chance encounter with Kelly Mantle at the Park Bar in Oklahoma City. This was shortly after her memorable run on Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she became a breakout favorite for her Hollywood pedigree and iconic 'bacon' comedy bit. Approaching her in such a casual setting led to a genuine connection. After we shared a brief moment and a photograph, we maintained contact.

I eventually shared a piece of digital art I had created, capturing her unique aesthetic. Kelly didn't just acknowledge the image—she integrated it into her professional world. She began utilizing my artwork as a featured flyer for her Hollywood events and promoted it across her social media platforms. Seeing my work transition from a personal tribute to a professional promotional tool within the Hollywood scene was a pivotal moment. It proved that my art had the power to reach and serve the creators who inspired it.
